Darnell-Cookman School of the Medical Arts has many different clubs that explore different areas of interest, so don’t hesitate to join a club and participate in an activity. Through clubs, you might find hidden talents, make new friends, and earn new skills or volunteer hours.

Permission slips are required for all clubs.

Some of these clubs have requirements for participation, including Rho Kappa, Generation WOW, 5000 Role Models, HOSA, NHS, and National Spanish Honor Society.

For Rho Kappa, an email invitation must first be sent by Ms. Bottini, and students must have no record of dishonesty. Rho Kappa aims to help students expand their interest in social studies by giving them opportunities to participate in the community and in competitions.

Generation WOW requires students to be girls, while 5000 Role Models requires students to be boys with good behavior. These two clubs aim to help students mature into well-rounded people by offering chances to help in the community and teaching students how to work through problems.

HOSA requires a 3.0 GPA and works to help students prepare for the medical field.

National Spanish Honor Society requires two years of Spanish courses and creates ways for students to expand their understanding of Spanish culture and language through various activities that reflect that culture.
